It's NOT Happening in Rainier WA

Gary Edwards made an announcement at the STEDI meeting in May 2023 at the Senior Center of Rainier that Thurston County approved $700,000 for new restroom for Wilkowski Park in Rainier.  This was great news.

At the June 2023 City Council Meeting there was an announcement that the restrooms won't be built this year.  Neither will the Pickle Ball Court or Tennis Court.

City Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month in City Hall at 5:00 PM.  Come early and sign up if you want to speak.

Flood of Love Pictures

Good evening all, let me please say that each and everyone of you are a blessing from God, yesterday was a great success and the only way it was accomplished was by your hearts and hard work.  As most of you know as of now we collected $2,477.00, there may still be some funds coming in and hopefully we can get them by tomorrow.  We will do a final count on Tuesday and turn it over to Rainier Chapel for a check to be sent to Samaritan Purse. if you have any other funds to be turned in please drop it off at the City Hall to Charmayne Garrison, tomorrow if possible.

Thank you all once again for forming this great group and please if you have any ideas for any other community get together please bring it up and lets keep it moving forward.

God Bless you all and know that Ellie's and my Love are with you.

Prescription Take Back Week in Rainier

This week RCC is sponsoring a prescription take back week here in Rainier, as a part of a larger state prescription take back campaign.  How does this involve you?  If any of you have a Facebook page, if you could please post the attached message on FB, and ask your Rainier/Yelm friends to also share it, that would be awesome.  You can also share it off our Facebook page if that would be easier.  Please let us know if you have any questions.

Rainier Roundup Days Vendor Applications Being Accepted

Dear Vendor,

Rainier Roundup is just around the corner from August 26th to 28th  with the main parade day being on the 27th.  We will again have vendors  row.  Setup on the evening of the 25th or morning of the 26th.

 Application attached.  (Below)

I have attempted to set a fill in application that you can fill in, print off, sign, add check drop in the mail.

City permit is only if you don't have a business permit with the city of Rainier.  You will need a temporary business permit with the city but just add it to the vendor permit and we take care of it for you.

Hope this application works.  For now it is only in Microsoft word.  Hope to have it in Adobe in the next couple of days.  Let me know if you have  trouble with it.

Thank You,
Karen Creamer
