A Special Thank You to RSC Kitchen Staff

         THANK YOU!!!

A special "Thank You" goes out to our  kitchen staff, Teena Scott, Cindy Amidon and Nina Muehlen, who volunteer at the Rainier Senior Center.  They do a wonderful job preparing meals for our many members and visitors.
If you haven't visited our Senior Center, come join us Monday or Wednesday.  Our center opens at 10:00 AM and lunch is served at Noon.  A $3.00 donation gives you a wholesome, home cooked meal complete with beverages of your choice, soup & or salad, entree with side dishes.  On the first meeting of the month we serve breakfast.  On the last meeting of the month we serve meatloaf - complete with all the trimmings - and birthday cake.  Come join us.

Rainier Community Cares Offers FREE Drug Lock Bags

Rainier Community Cares is offering drug bags, free of charge, while supplies last.  These lockable bags keep your prescriptions safe. They are used to help prevent misuse, or accidental use of drugs in your home.

You do not have to be a resident of Yelm or Rainier to receive one of these bags during normal hours.

  •  Just stop in and ask for one  in Yelm at Tim's Pharmacy & Rite Aid Drugs.
  • In Rainier you can pick a bag up at the Rainier school nurses office and Rainier City Hall.

These bags are great for parents and grandparents alike, helping to keep keep our families safe.
