Medicare Workshop October 7, 2019

Elizabeth Thunstedt will be holding a Medicare Workshop on October 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Senior Center of Rainier dining area.  Please bring your questions about the 2020 changes in Medicare.  We'll talk about Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Presecription drug plans.  Join us. PSE Power Outages

Seniors,

The Senior Center of Rainier is a "warming and cooling shelter" for our seniors in the Yelm/Rainier/Tenino area. Please feel free to call one of our board members who has a key, and they will open the center to let you if you have an emergency outside of our normal hours of operation. We are on the City of Rainier trunk line, so we usually have power. We can also provide you with hot food, internet and games/puzzles/books. Check your membership list for contact names and phone numbers.

RSE Free Introductory Event 2019

The JZ Knight Humanities Foundation gave the Senior Center of Rainier a grant to paint the exterior of our building.  There was enough money left over to finsh and paint the upstairs interior.  Anyone who's interested in JZ Knight can go to a Free RSE Introductory Event.  The information was provided to us to post here:
