Thanksgiving Dinner Update

Dear Seniors and Friends,

We will have Thanksgiving Dinner, with all of the trimmings on the Monday before Thanksgiving Day.  The meal is $7.00, if you don't bring a side dish to share and $5.00 if you bring a side dish.  We need everyone to RSVP and let us know if you're coming & whether your bringing a side dish.  If you're bringing a side dish, please let us know what it is.

We will be closed on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, as many people need that day to cook for family and friends.  That being said, we will be open on Thanksgiving for a "Pot Luck".  

There is no cost on Thanksgiving Day, if you're bringing a side dish.  Regular prices apply, if you're not bringing a side dish. 

Again, we need everyone to RSVP and let us know

1.  If you're coming 
2.  Whether or not you're bringing a side dish*.  
3.  If you're bringing a side dish, please let us know what it is. 
4.  If you know someone who will be spending Thanksgiving alone, please feel free to invite them. 
5.  *Note:  Couples and families need only bring one side dish.

PSE Power Outages

Seniors,

The Senior Center of Rainier is a "warming and cooling shelter" for our seniors in the Yelm/Rainier/Tenino area. Please feel free to call one of our board members who has a key, and they will open the center to let you if you have an emergency outside of our normal hours of operation. We are on the City of Rainier trunk line, so we usually have power. We can also provide you with hot food, internet and games/puzzles/books. Check your membership list for contact names and phone numbers.
