Announcing Timberland Library Thinkpad Winner August 2023!

Congratulations to the  Teresa Van Haelst, the winner of Timberland Library's 

Computer contest.  Teresa is in the Rainier Chapel Choir and a volunteer at the Rainier Emergency Food Center.  She is in charge of the Samaritian's Purse Shoebox program for the Christmas gifts for children in third world countries.  Their goal for this year is to send 300 shoeboxes to Peru.  

She's raising her twin grandsons and their siblings.  She's an amazing woman and does a lot for our community, as well as for her family.  Thank you, Teresa, for all you do for Rainier and our surrounding communities.

Members of "Consumer Protection Washington" will be making presentations at the Senior Center of Rainier on September 27, 2023 on Elder Financial Fraud, Charity Fraud, Identity Theft and more!
