Eclipse 2017 at the Rainier Senior Center

Monday, August 21, was busy.  We not only had a BINGO game, but many seniors went outside, during a BINGO Break, and watched the eclipse with their eclipse glasses.  Inside we could see that it was getting dark outside as the moon eclipsed the sun.  From our perspective it looked like stormy weather outside.  Dark clouds on the horizon.  (George & I stayed inside with a few others.)

Even though we bought 50 pairs of certified solar eclipse glasses, we ran out quickly.  We weren't going to look at the eclipse without a pair of the glasses.
